A Note From Gloria
Yellow Feather was born from a quiet ache.
Not just for place, but for rhythm. For spaces that felt soft, soulful, and true.
After years abroad, I returned to Tanzania. Grateful, but disoriented.
I no longer fit into the version of “home” I had left behind.
I wasn’t a tourist. But I wasn’t fully Tanzanian anymore either.
So I began building a space that reflected who I had become.
A space for the in-between. For the seekers. For the feelers.
The name came from a yellow-bellied sunbird that began visiting my window each day.
It felt like a sign. A quiet whisper that joy, freedom, and beauty were still within reach. Even in unfamiliar seasons.
Yellow Feather isn’t just a place.
It’s a return. To yourself, to nature, to what really matters.
Thank you for being here.
You’re part of the story now.
