Cinema is just the beginning. At Yellow Feather, we believe magic happens when people gather with intention. Not just to watch but to feel, to move, to drop into presence and remember what really matters.
Sometimes that looks like a silent disco. Sometimes, a breathwork circle held beneath the full moon. Sometimes it’s music and feasting in the middle of nowhere. And sometimes it’s a slow, sun-soaked day spent wandering between flavours, makers, and moments that invite you to linger.
These are the other ways we come together. Our musical gatherings, full moon rituals, wild pop-ups in unexpected places, and grazing circles that celebrate community, food, and the rhythm of slow living. They don’t always follow a format. But they always follow a feeling.
Rooted in presence. Designed for wonder. Built to be remembered.
Entry: 60,000 TSH (includes breathwork, live sound session, moonlit cinema, and a kombucha of your choice)
An evening of breath, story, and stillness beneath the Full Buck Moon.
We’re partnering with our friends at Backyard Soirée to offer a soft, spacious night to reconnect with self, with community, and with the quiet beauty of the natural world.
Guided by the energy of the Full Buck Moon, a time for strength, reflection, and realignment, this gathering blends wellness and cinema into a shared ritual of presence and creative storytelling.
The Flow 6:00 – 7:00 PM | Breathwork & Sound Bath As golden hour fades, we begin with a gentle breathwork and live sound journey led by Charlie Smiles. Mats, cushions, and sound bowls invite you to drop into stillness, helping you ground, soften, and arrive fully.
7:00 – 7:45 PM | Nourishment & Mingling A moment to eat, sip, and connect. Enjoy kombucha by Human Kind Zanzibar, order something warm from the Kilimanjaro Golf Clubhouse, and gather with kindred spirits under the rising moon.
7:45 – 9:00 PM | Moonlit Cinema We close the evening with an open-air screening of two Tanzanian short documentaries, rich with nature, memory, and cultural depth. With low seating, cozy blankets, and silent headphones, this is a mindful cinema experience under the stars.
This is part of a growing collaborative series: gatherings designed for the curious, the kind-hearted, and the community-minded. Whether you’re here for the breathwork, the film, or simply the feeling, you’re welcome.
Come as you are. Leave a little more connected.
Saturday, August 9 | Full Sturgeon Moon Experience
Saturday, August 9 From 2:00 PM Kilimamoto, Kisongo, Arusha
Entry: 25,000 TSH Includes match access and moonlight experience Food and drinks are available for purchase on-site
An afternoon of movement, moonlight, and shared magic at one of the most breathtaking natural spots in Arusha.
We’re teaming up once again with Backyard Soirée to bring you a full moon experience unlike anything we’ve ever done. This time, we’re heading to Kilimamoto, a volcanic hill just outside Arusha, for a casual seven-a-side match in the crater basin followed by golden hour sundowners at the top.
This gathering is equal parts playful and poetic. A friendly game surrounded by nature. A slow walk back up as the light softens. Cold drinks, warm company, and sweeping views of the countryside as the full sturgeon moon rises overhead.
The Flow 2:00 PM | Arrival and crater walk Guests check in at the base and begin the walk to the crater. The path is walk-friendly and takes about an hour with beautiful scenery along the way.
3:30 PM | Kick-off A seven-a-side match begins inside the crater. Sponsored by iRide Arusha and Bitcoin Arusha. Come to play or cheer from the sidelines.
5:30 PM | Sundowners at the rim We gather at the top for music, mingling, and refreshments. Drinks by Twiga Beer and Painted Dog Gin. Bites by Bada Bing Burger. Views across Arusha and the surrounding countryside.
After sunset | Full moon chill As the moon rises, we slow down together for a short and sweet close to the evening. A final drink, shared laughter, and a moment beneath the stars before heading back down while it’s still warm.
This is part of our ongoing collaborative series created for the curious, the kind-hearted, and the community-minded. No prior experience needed. Just bring walk-friendly shoes, a bottle of water, a light jacket or sweater and a sense of adventure.
Come for the game. Stay for the moon. Spots are limited. Reserve early.
